Dr.Ashish Khanijo

Dr. Ashish Khanijo is working in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery since 1996. He has worked with senior surgeons from Pune and Mumbai and gained enough experience. He started practicing independently in 2007. Dr. Khanijo operates mostly for adult cardiac surgical patients. Dr. Ashish Khanijo operates patients for cardiac ailments( coronary bypass surgery, heart valves surgery, masses in the heart), patients with lung diseases, masses in the chest, and vascular problems ( blockages in the peripheral arteries and the veins). So also, the operations required for the aorta and the Vena Cava. Dr. Khanijo is a Heart Surgeon he does heart transplantation, Conventional cardiac surgery and minimally invasive open heart surgeries, and has experience of dealing with patients requiring ECMO (extra corporeal membrane oxygenation). Also, have enough experience of working in the cath lab for pacemakers and Endovascular procedures. Is a life member of the Indian association of cardiothoracic surgeons. Has been regularly attending national and international conferences and updates.
